About Athena Wellness
Athena Wellness is a preventive healthcare and longevity wellness centre opening soon in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. We focus on what matters before a diagnosis is needed — early detection, functional health, lifestyle optimisation, and personalised care plans built around each patient. Our approach combines conventional medicine with evidence-based integrative therapies, with one goal: keeping people well for the long term.
We are currently setting up and hiring the team that will bring this vision to life.
Role Overview
We are looking for a competent and patient-focused Registered Nurse to join our founding clinical team. This role goes beyond routine nursing — you will be hands-on in delivering IV therapies, supporting wellness procedures, and ensuring every patient feels safe, informed, and well cared for throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities
Perform nursing duties in a wellness clinic setting, including IV cannulation, venepuncture, infusions, and injections
Assist doctors during consultations, health screenings, and clinical procedures
Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after treatments — ensuring safety, comfort, and proper aftercare
Maintain accurate nursing and treatment records in compliance with clinical governance standards
Enforce infection control, safety protocols, and clinical SOPs at all times
Manage medical supplies, equipment, and medication inventory
Educate patients on their treatments, wellness programmes, and post-procedure care
Support smooth day-to-day clinic operations and uphold high standards of patient service
Requirements
Registered Nurse with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC), registered with Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia (LJM)
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution
Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience with demonstrated competency in IV cannulation and venepuncture
Strong clinical skills with sound knowledge of nursing procedures and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — ability to engage patients from diverse backgrounds
Empathetic, patient-centred approach with genuine dedication to patient care
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
Willingness to learn and adapt to wellness-focused and preventive care models
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia required; Mandarin or other languages are an added advantage
Willing to travel occasionally for work-related trips
What We Offer
Competitive salary package with work-life balance
Structured training in wellness nursing, preventive care, and IV therapies
Staff discounts on treatment packages
Supportive and collaborative working environment
Career growth opportunity within a growing preventive healthcare centre
