About the client:

Our client is a regional industrial automation and power system provider, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and integration of process control systems, power distribution panels, and Ex solar PV systems. They serve a diverse range of industries, including oil & gas, grains, edible oils, and food manufacturing. 

Key Responsibilities:

•Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
•Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the power, utilities, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, panel builders, developers, and end-users.
•Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical-commercial presentations tailored to customer requirements.
•Collaborate with engineering, proposal, and project teams to ensure timely and competitive solutions.
•Lead contract negotiations and manage the sales process from prospecting through project award.
•Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
•Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and regular updates for management.
•Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.

Job Requirements:

•Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
•Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the electrical power industry, with proven experience in Low Voltage (LV) and/or Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear.
•Good understanding of switchgear products, electrical distribution systems, protection schemes, and relevant industry standards.
•Established network with consultants, contractors, industrial customers, utilities, or developers will be an added advantage.
•Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
•Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
•Willing to travel within Malaysia for customer visits and business development.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in one or more of the following products will be an added advantage:
•Medium Voltage Switchgear
•Low Voltage Switchgear
•Ring Main Units (RMU)
•Compact Substations
