We're looking for an experienced commercial leader to join our Crop Science team as Glyphosate Business Development Manager – East Asia Pacific (EAP).

Where Do You Want To Go?

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of Bayer's Glyphosate business across East Asia Pacific, leading strategic growth initiatives, strengthening partnerships, and identifying new opportunities to expand our market presence.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Commercial, Product Supply, Finance, Regulatory and Market Development while partnering with distributors, plantations, government agencies, academia and industry stakeholders across the region.

Do Something That Moves You
  • Develop and execute medium- and long-term business growth strategies for the Glyphosate portfolio.
  • Deliver annual sales, market share, profitability and cash flow objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities, priority growth segments and channel expansion opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with distributors, key accounts and industry partners.
  • Negotiate business plans, volume commitments and commercial agreements with partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing dynamics to drive commercial decisions.
  • Lead market activation initiatives to increase market penetration and distribution reach.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful planning and execution of business initiatives.
  • Engage with plantation leadership teams, government agencies, NGOs and industry stakeholders to strengthen Bayer's market position.
Does This Sound Like You?
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Protection, Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
  • 5–10 years of experience in crop protection, agrochemical, pesticide or agribusiness industries.
  • Proven success in commercial management, business development or strategic sales roles.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural channel structures and market dynamics within Asia Pacific.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and execution focus.
  • Knowledge of crop production, horticulture, pathology or agronomy would be advantageous.
