About The Role

The Logistic Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of IT equipment and materials within our datacenter operations. You will be responsible for inventory accuracy, receiving and shipping hardware, preparing production orders, and supporting operational teams with timely logistics services.

Working closely with Datacenter Operations, Procurement, and other internal stakeholders, you will help maintain high operational standards while ensuring inventory integrity and compliance with internal processes and service level agreements (SLAs)

Job Responsibilities

As a Logistic Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of IT equipment and materials throughout our datacenter operations. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, processing inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring hardware is available to support operational requirements. You will take ownership of inventory management, logistics coordination, and warehouse operations while working closely with Datacenter Operations, Procurement, and other internal stakeholders. This position is characterized by attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, operational excellence, and a proactive, hands-on approach to supporting Leaseweb's infrastructure and service delivery.

• Ensures that quantity and quality of the incoming and outgoing shipments are correct

• Maintains controls over various types of inventories (servers, server components and accessories)

• Reports inconsistencies in the received shipments and administers the received goods into the logistics systems

• Executes a high standard in inventory management. Including sorting and handling returned equipment from the data center.

• Executes order picking based on production orders (tickets) in a timely matter according to the OLA

• Executes outgoing shipments to internal and external customers according to the SLA

Job Requirements

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and hands-on individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical environment:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, or datacentre operations.

• Experience handling IT hardware such as servers, networking equipment, or computer components is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet operational deadlines.

• Comfortable handling and moving IT equipment safely.

• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

• Willingness to work in a datacentre environment and occasionally outside normal business hours when operationally required.

• Forklift certification or warehouse handling experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
