Job Description

Responsibilities

SCOPE

To support the Human Resources Department by managing recruitment, employee administration, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and employee engagement activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment & Employee Administration

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employment documentation for permanent, contract, and outsourced employees.
  • Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, and other employee movement documentation.
  • Monitor contract expiry, probation confirmation, and employee records to ensure timely action.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR records.

Payroll & HR Operations

  • Coordinate monthly payroll inputs and ensure timely submission in accordance with payroll deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support day-to-day HR administrative operations.

Statutory Compliance

  • Administer PERKESO (SOCSO) workplace accident reporting and claims in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies relating to employee documentation and records.

Employee Engagement

  • Coordinate employee engagement activities, including sports and welfare programmes.
  • Coordinate staff welfare initiatives, including periodic locker fumigation and other employee wellbeing activities.

General

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
