Job Description

Pathgreen Energy is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of residential, commercial, and industrial Solar PV projects. This role is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, monitoring, and delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and coordinating Solar PV projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and overall project progress.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure work is carried out according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Track project budgets, costs, and timelines, and report project progress to the Project Manager.
  • Review Solar PV system designs, Single-Line Diagrams (SLD), and electrical drawings with the engineering team.
  • Support testing, commissioning, project documentation, and final handover.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and Malaysian regulatory requirements.
  • Identify project risks, site issues, and coordinate timely corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Solar PV, renewable energy, construction, or project engineering.
  • Good knowledge of Solar PV systems, electrical installations, roofing systems, and local building regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret Solar PV system designs, Single-Line Diagrams (SLD), and electrical drawings.
  • Familiarity with ST, TNB, SEDA, and DOSH requirements is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of Solar PV system design and installation.
  • Strong planning, coordination, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with electrical measuring instruments and testing equipment.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Possess a valid driving licence, own transport, and be willing to travel to project sites nationwide.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
