We focus strongly on offering streamlined MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) services. Currently, we provide our services in collaboration with more than 20 world renowned technology partners. With an existing rolling stock maintenance workshop, our focus is to be the leading provider of MRO services in the regional railway industry.

We invite dynamic, experienced and like minded professionals to join our team as Finance Manager. Your primary function is to manage the Company’s financial and treasury systems, and practices ensuring financial information is timely, accurate, complete and compliant with relevant accounting and taxation principles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and submission of monthly financial reports, financial analysis and recommendations to ED / CEO in order to support informed business decision-making.
  • Generate financial insights, analysis and support in managing the profitability of all projects and profit centers.
  • Optimise business opportunities, new projects and investments by preparing the financial evaluation and proposals.
  • Advise the Management on the current and projected Company financial position and to ensure compliance with financial legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for inventory management, cost control and cash flow management.
  • Manage and arrange banking facilities and funding as required for Company’s current and future growth potentials.
  • Maintain effective internal accounting controls, Company policies and procedures, corporate governance measures and operational reporting.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers, lawyers and government agencies.
  • Familiar with corporate secretarial matters.
  • Be responsible for effective tax planning.
  • Oversee finance systems managing transaction flows from source through interfaces to general ledger.
  • Ensure finance ledgers are maintained on a timely basis, are accurate and complete, and structured for dual purpose of providing relevant information to internal users and meeting statutory obligations.
  • Ensure reporting functions and responses to ad hoc requests for financial related information are appropriately delivered.
  • Preparation of annual budget, project cashflow forecast and PNL forecast.
  • Participate, lead and drive ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by ED / CEO.

Competencies:

· Possess a Bachelor's Degree and Professional Qualification in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

· At least 5-8 years of working experience in a related field at a managerial level.

· Familiar with accounting standards, business law, tax regulation and systems.

· Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
