JOB SCOPE AND CRITICAL DELIVERABLES

Production Quality Control & Compliance Manager with

1. Managing the Reinforcement Fabrication Yard

2. Managing the Document Control Department

The QC Manager shall be responsible for the following but not limited to:

· Managing the design and technical coordination process

· Leading productivity and quality management through team training, process optimization and labour productivity management

· Rationalizing the cubic meter/manday tracking indicator for the different precast components

· Consistently reviewing feedback from the different Client’s project sites to ensure Zero Major Non-Conformities during Quality Audits and daily Quality Control inspections

· Reviewing and optimizing the reinforcement yard operations for reinforcement wastage management and with no delays to respective production line schedules

· Consistent material availability through effective material stock management

· Maintaining detailed, accurate and timely documentation for compliance and project traceability

· Prioritizing stakeholder satisfaction through effective coordination and communication

1. Design & Technical Coordination

• Collaborating with the design and technical department to review construction and production drawings
• Ensuring that the relevant structural specifications are fulfilled
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in mould fabrication, reinforcement detailing and cast in items prior to production

2. Productivity and Quality Management

• Mentoring the production teams to improve the productivity and quality of precast concrete components
• Developing and conducting on-the-job training in safe handling of equipment, mould set-up, reinforcement caging and concrete placement/casting and finishing
• Monitoring the daily production output through the utilization/cycle time of each mould to identify constraint points/bottlenecks
• Promote ownership, responsibility and accountability through teamwork to fulfil compliance thresholds across the workforce
• Support Quality Audits (Client and Internal), ensuring compliance with standards for successful audit outcomes
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve non-conformities to continuously improve processes
• Plan manpower allocation and overtime requirements

3. Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with Clients and Auditors during plant inspections and project site visits
• Provide full support to external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery

4. Reinforcement/Rebar Yard Operations Management

• Oversee daily reinforcement yard operations, including cutting, bending, storage and delivery to the respective production lines
• Enforce strict adherence to safety, operational, and quality procedures within the reinforcement yard
• Ensure production outputs align with project schedules and specifications

5. Supply Chain & Inventory Management

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and logistics teams to ensure production schedules are met
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely material availability
• Monitor reinforcement material stock level
• Optimize reinforcement waste and manage cost efficiency in material handling

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate production reports, quality control records and quality audit documentation
• Prepare and present timely tabulated updates to Management on the different periodic progress matrices, compliance status including highlighting constraints and challenges
• Oversees the full document control process; ensures compliance with the necessary and requisite standards, including the respective project quality plans

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
