Responsibilities
Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur
Job Summary
Strong ABAP on S/4HANA skills, including CDS views, AMDP, and HANA-optimized development
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, including OData services, Fiori apps, and Launchpad configuration
Good understanding of BTP (Integration Suite, Cloud Foundry) and side-by-side extension concepts
Hands-on knowledge of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and modern extensibility approaches
Expertise in OData/APIs and integration with SAP and non-SAP applications
Solid debugging and support skills across ABAP, Gateway, and Fiori layers for incident resolution
Experience in SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) using Node.js, building scalable BTP-based services
Full-stack development exposure for BTP apps (Node.js + UI5/Fiori), including service creation, integration, and UI consumption
Key Responsibilities
1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
