About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lecturer for the Certificate in Health Science (CHS) Programme to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, facilitating student learning, and contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and practical classes for the Certificate in Health Science programme.
• Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans, assessments, and examination questions.
• Monitor and evaluate students' academic progress and provide academic guidance.
• Participate in curriculum review, programme development, and quality assurance activities.
• Maintain accurate student records and submission of academic reports.
• Supervise student projects and academic activities where applicable.
• Engage in departmental meetings, faculty activities, and institutional initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with academic policies, accreditation requirements, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related healthcare field.
• Master's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in higher education or relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of health science concepts and healthcare practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience teaching Certificate, Diploma, or Foundation programmes.
• Familiarity with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and student-centered learning approaches.
• Ability to utilize online learning platforms and educational technologies.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
