Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfilment, and distribution activities.
  • Ensure overall inventory accuracy through effective stock control, including monthly and annual stock take activities.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Develop, review, and continuously improve warehouse workflows, processes, and warehouse management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and implement best warehouse practices and operational procedures to achieve an efficient, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment.
  • Review demand and supply forecasts, and coordinate closely with the Production team to ensure timely fulfilment of production and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels, making recommendations for replenishment and inventory optimization.
  • Enforce the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory management principle to minimize stock ageing, deterioration, and material wastage.
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping and compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and health regulations throughout warehouse operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for all warehouse transactions and activities.
  • Coordinate with transport providers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and oversee preventive maintenance of warehouse equipment, machinery, vehicles, and material handling equipment.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse personnel to ensure efficient daily operations, high productivity, and continuous staff development.
  • Monitor team performance, set performance expectations, and implement improvement initiatives to achieve departmental KPIs.
  • Manage warehouse operating expenses and monitor departmental budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Prepare and present warehouse reports, inventory analysis, operational statistics, and performance reports as required by Management.
  • Perform any other duties or projects assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant warehouse and logistics management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in managing warehouse operations, inventory control, distribution, and logistics activities.
  • Proficient in using ERP systems (experience with Pronto Xi is an added advantage) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of inventory management principles, including FIFO, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations, occupational health & safety (OSH), and good warehouse practices.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to oversee warehouse operations across the New Factory, Semenyih and HQ, Beranang, Selangor, and travel between locations as required.
  • Willing to work on alternate Saturdays as required.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
