About the client:

Our client is a regional industrial automation and power system provider, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and integration of process control systems, power distribution panels, and Ex solar PV systems. They serve a diverse range of industries, including oil & gas, grains, edible oils, and food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the power, utilities, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, panel builders, developers, and end-users.

• Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical-commercial presentations tailored to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, proposal, and project teams to ensure timely and competitive solutions.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage the sales process from prospecting through project award.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and regular updates for management.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.Job Requirements

:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the electrical power industry, with proven experience in Low Voltage (LV) and/or Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear.
• Good understanding of switchgear products, electrical distribution systems, protection schemes, and relevant industry standards.
• Established network with consultants, contractors, industrial customers, utilities, or developers will be an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel within Malaysia for customer visits and business development.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in one or more of the following products will be an added advantage:

• Medium Voltage Switchgear
• Low Voltage Switchgear
• Ring Main Units (RMU)
• Compact Substations
