POSITION OVERVIEW: QA Testing Engineering Senior Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with strong domain knowledge in the Malaysia Life Insurance/Takaful industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating business and system requirements, ensuring the quality of insurance applications, and supporting end-to-end testing activities. Experience with core insurance systems and knowledge of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulations are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Design, prepare, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate system enhancements, defect fixes, and new implementations to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects, working closely with developers and business analysts to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform end-to-end testing of insurance business processes, including policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, and customer servicing.
• Ensure applications comply with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulatory requirements and business policies.
• Participate in requirement reviews, solution walkthroughs, and release validation activities.
• Prepare test reports, defect metrics, and testing documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Quality Assurance (QA) experience, preferably within the Life Insurance industry.
• Experience working with Malaysia Life Insurance or Takaful companies.
