Role Description The Shipping Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This role is responsible for coordinating daily shipping and receiving activities, including preparing documentation, arranging transport, and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery. The Shipping Coordinator works closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve shipping issues, verify order accuracy, and maintain up-to-date shipping records. Additional responsibilities include supporting inventory control processes, preparing export documentation, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations. The role requires consistent communication with customers and vendors to provide shipment status updates and maintain a high level of service.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Shipping & Receiving operations, including documentation, scheduling, and shipment tracking.
• Experience with Inventory Control processes, such as stock verification, record updates, and discrepancy resolution.
• Knowledge of Export procedures and regulations, with the ability to prepare and review relevant export documents.
• Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, provide shipment status updates, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple shipments and deadlines.
• WProficiency with logistics or warehouse management systems and standard office software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
• Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or warehouse coordination is preferred.
• Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is beneficial.
