When conventional FRP tanks are not suitable, Win-Fung designs and fabricates fiberglass reinforced thermoplastic tanks (such as PVDF, PP, uPVC, cPVC, PFA) to withstand demanding chemical exposure and extreme temperatures. Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam, responsible for overseeing daily tank fabrication operations and ensuring production targets are met safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves planning and scheduling production activities, coordinating resources, managing shop floor teams, and monitoring workflow to achieve consistent quality standards. The Production Manager will implement and maintain quality control procedures, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with engineering and procurement to optimize materials, processes, and equipment usage. The role also includes enforcing health, safety, and environmental practices, tracking performance metrics, preparing reports for management, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Regular communication with stakeholders and support for staff training and development are integral parts of the position.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong production and operations management skills, including scheduling, resource planning, and workflow optimization in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates should possess quality assurance and process improvement skills, such as implementing quality standards, conducting inspections, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Candidates should possess leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, performance coaching, and effective communication across diverse groups.
• Candidates should possess technical understanding of fiberglass or related composite manufacturing, industrial equipment, and safety regulations, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Candidates should possess organizational and analytical skills, including data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and report preparation for production performance.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred, with prior experience in production management or supervisory roles in heavy industry or tank fabrication being highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as basic computer literacy and exposure to production or ERP systems, will be advantageous.
