Division Manager, Fresh & Grocery

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Fresh and/or Grocery Department.
• Ensure products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and maintained according to company standards.
• Ensure the freshness, quality, and proper handling of fresh products where applicable.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and stock rotation practices to minimize wastage and maintain product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, and housekeeping standards within the department.
• Lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve sales, productivity, and operational targets.
• Handle customer enquiries and ensure excellent customer service at all times.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and operational procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, with experience managing either a Fresh or Grocery Department.
• Experience in a hypermarket or supermarket environment is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of merchandising, inventory management, stock control, and department operations.
• Experience in handling fresh products is an added advantage for Fresh Department assignments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Willing to be relocated based on business requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
