JOB SCOPE

Job Title : Assistant Engineer

Grade : Executive

Reporting to : Engineering Manager

MAIN JOB FUNCTION

To support our engineering team in various projects. This role involves assisting with design, development, testing, and documentation of engineering projects, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth and skill development.

1. To perform Facilities Management functions for facilities under his scope and responsibilities in accordance with the business standards and quality as defined by the Company and customers.

2. To manage the contracts or projects under his scope and responsibility within the commercial target set out by the Company.

3. To provide comprehensive monthly report to the management and client on the project.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES (Not limited to)

1. Providing technical support for the site in:

· ensuring that all necessary works are completed on schedule

· ensuring that all necessary works are completed to the satisfaction of the client;

· attending to complaints from clients

· preparation of checklists and other documentations;

· Identifying and solving problems on site etc.

2. Train, coach and counsel subordinates with respect to skills and attitude improvement and enhancement.

3. Help in the testing and validation of engineering systems and components, documenting results and performance metrics.

4. Work closely with senior engineers and other team members to ensure the objectives are met and timelines are adhered to.

5. Assist in identifying issues and proposing solutions

6. Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to contribute effectively to projects.

7. Any other duties not specified above but as directed by the Immediate Superior or the Management

JOB REQUIREMENT

QUALIFICATION

· Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related field).

· 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience, internships, or co-op experience is a plus.

· Relevant certifications (e.g., Engineering in Training (EIT) or equivalent) are a plus.

SKILLS

· Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, or relevant industry-specific software).

· Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret data.

· Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

· Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while being self-motivated.

· Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From RM8,000.00 per month
