Job Description:
- Involvement in day to day accounting operations
- Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes, verify data by comparing it to source documents and update existing data
- Verify transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Prepare, verify accuracy and entering of invoice into accounting system
- Prepare monthly back reconciliation, statement of account for debtors and creditors and supporting schedule for monthly and monthly account closing
- Dealing with suppliers' queries on payment
- Monitor aging report and highlight on overdue record
- Responsible in assisting for year-end closing
- Assist Manager in all finance related work
- Entering debits and credits into software applications and databases accurately
- Maintain fixed asset register and computation of depreciation
- Ensure all documents are well organized and filed up to date
- Any other duties as required and assigned by the Management
Job Requirements:
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
- A Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) is required.
- Able to communicate, read, and write in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Good time management skills with the ability to handle tasks systematically and accurately.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to work at Publika, Kuala Lumpur.
