The Role

Reporting to the PTP Team, your responsibility is to ensure all accounting are aligned with the current statutory requirements, standard operating procedures and timeliness of the month end closing

• Assist in GST project activities, including documenting workflows and coordinating discussions with stakeholders on GST-related matters
• Support the Lead to assist in ACAP renewal for DFI Retail Singapore Pte Ltd update the workflows
• Support auditor and consultant queries relating to GST compliance and reporting
• Investigating the GST differences and work with Shared Services team to get the data
• Review and ensure all GST entries are correctly captured in Sales, AP, AR and Cashbook reconciliations
• Support cashbook related functions such as refunds and chargebacka
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for FICO, SAP Retail, and related finance systems relating to GST
• Perform other ad hoc duties and assignments as required by the supervisor

About You

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or Finance or Accountancy-related course
• Experience in retail/FMCG sector for at least 1-2 years (candidates with Tax and GST Experience is preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft office and Visio applications.
• Fluent in spoken & written English. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Strong time management skills, able to prioritise workload
