Middleware Engineer

Experience - 3 to 5 Years

RM 7,000 - RM 8,000

Kuala Lumpur

12 Months contract, renewable

Mandatory Skills

·      Strong experience with WebLogic and/or JBoss administration.

·      Hands-on experience with SSL/TLS configuration and certificate management.

·      Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments (HP-UX, Linux, Solaris).

·      Strong scripting skills (Shell/Unix scripting).

Good to Have Skills

·      Understanding of database concepts (Oracle or other RDBMS).

·      Knowledge of load balancers and networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, ports, firewalls).

·      Experience working with enterprise infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

·      Install, configure, and manage WebLogic and/or JBoss application servers.

·      Implement and manage SSL/TLS encryption for secure communication across environments.

·      Troubleshoot middleware issues, including performance, connectivity, and security problems.

·      Perform deployments, patching, and upgrades of middleware environments.

·      Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency.

·      Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of applications.

·      Collaborate with database, network, and load balancer teams for end-to-end system integration.

·      Support incident management, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
