Responsibilities

CW015 - Contingent - Supply Chain Logistics


You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end import and export processes across international markets. This includes coordinating and overseeing all logistics activities, ensuring freight invoices are accurately audited, validated against agreed rates, and processed in a timely manner for payment.


Location –Ecolab, GBS+ Office, KL Malaysia


Role and Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the daily freight payment and audit process for freight invoices received from third-party service providers.
  • Verify invoice accuracy against agreed contractual rates and resolve any discrepancies or disputes.
  • Review and approve all freight invoices on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts Payable team to address payment-related issues and ensure timely processing.
  • Liaise with service providers to resolve outstanding invoice queries and discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the logistics team to investigate and resolve disputed freight invoices.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team by providing required information and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment data and records for all import activities using Excel and other relevant systems.
  • Provide performance feedback to relevant stakeholders and monitor supplier reliability through structured performance measurement frameworks and KPIs.
  • Continuously identify and implement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Guide and support 3PL service providers on operational objectives, performance expectations, KPIs, and measurement criteria, while facilitating the development and execution of corrective and improvement action plans.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business studies, Supply Chain Management, Customs Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 0–1 year of hands-on experience in import/export operations and third-party logistics (3PL) management
  • Understanding and correct application of Incoterms 2020 in international trade transactions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently identify issues and implement effective solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multiple management levels and functional areas
  • Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and meticulous in execution
  • Proficient in the Local and English languages
