Responsibilities
Lead and manage all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works for building construction projects from planning through completion.
Review M&E design drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements and statutory regulations.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and relevant authorities on all M&E matters.
Plan, monitor, and supervise M&E installation works to ensure quality, safety, and timely project delivery.
Oversee M&E subcontractors and suppliers, including progress monitoring, quality control, and performance management.
Identify design conflicts and technical issues, and provide practical solutions to minimise project delays.
Ensure all M&E works comply with applicable statutory requirements.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover activities.
Prepare and review method statements, technical reports, shop drawings, material submissions, and as-built drawings.
Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on M&E progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
Manage project schedules, manpower, and resources to achieve project milestones.
Support tender reviews, value engineering, and cost control initiatives where required.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant M&E experience in building construction projects, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Experience managing M&E subcontractors and coordinating multiple disciplines.
Good understanding of HVAC, ACMV, plumbing & sanitary, fire protection, electrical and ELV
Familiarity with project planning and scheduling.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
