About the Role
Enjoy being on the move instead of sitting behind a desk? Join a reputable educational institution as a Facilities Patrol Officer, where you'll conduct routine patrols and inspections to ensure campus sports and recreational facilities remain safe, clean and operational.
This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in security, patrol, facilities, operations, maintenance or logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine patrols and inspections of campus facilities
Open and close sports and recreational facilities
Report maintenance faults and safety hazards
Monitor the proper use of facilities and equipment
Manage facility keys and access cards
Carry out basic inspections and submit reports using a mobile application
Liaise with relevant departments for repair and maintenance works
Assist with day-to-day facilities operations and emergency situations when required
Requirements
Minimum Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma
Comfortable with a hands-on operational role
Physically fit and able to walk around the campus throughout the day
Comfortable carrying equipment when required
Able to work outdoors when necessary
Basic Microsoft Office and mobile app usage
Team player with a willingness to learn
First Aid Certificate is an advantage (or willing to obtain one before commencement)
Working Hours
Rotating Shift (Rostered)
Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 3:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Alternate Saturdays
Sunday & Public Holidays Off
Shift assignments are rostered by the supervisor.
