We are hiring: Senior Executive Project Development.

Northport (Malaysia) Bhd is looking for a driven and capable professional to join our Strategic Planning & Project Division as a Senior Executive, Project Development.

This role will be involved in the planning and development of port-related facilities, equipment and infrastructure projects—from early-stage concept development and feasibility assessment through to project design, coordination and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Support project scope definition, conceptual planning and design for port facilities, equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop business cases and evaluate cost-effective and sustainable project solutions.
• Coordinate feasibility studies, technical evaluations, environmental assessments and relevant surveys.
• Participate in strategic development, innovation initiatives, new business creation and product development.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are planned and delivered efficiently and collaboratively.
• Incorporate appropriate measures to minimise environmental and community impact.
• Support the development of contracts for project design, testing, commissioning and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, company policies, procedures and limits of authority.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management or Project Development.
• Strong coordination, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
• Able to work effectively across multiple disciplines and project teams.
