Description of Role, Key Duties and Responsibilities

The role of Gasoline Broker will broadly comprise:

(i) executing client orders and price matching services, inline with best execution policy, in respect of energy commodity derivatives;and (ii) understanding and providing clients with information regarding the derivatives market and highlight trading opportunities.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

(i) researching and writing market reports and analysis;

(ii) pricing and discussing trades for and with clients;

(iii) working with other members of the Arrow Energy Marketsteam to meet client needs;

(iv) service and develop client relationships, including byproviding valuable and frequent communications with clients;

(v) acting in a way which complies with the regulatoryenvironment;

(vi) work with other team members to increase business trading volumes and number of clients, including by undertaking business development activities.

Skills and Experience

The role will require the following skills and experience:

(i) being able to operate in a dynamic environment;

(ii) being able to maintain good client relationships;

(iii) negotiation skills;

(iv) financial/mathematical skills;

(v) being driven and motivated;

(vi) ability to use relevant software including Cloud 9;

(vii) being professional, confident, enthusiastic anddetail-oriented;

(viii) having excellent oral and written communication skills

(ix) having the ability to work independently, exercise good judgment and be resourceful;

(x) Advantage to have an existing client base and contacts

(xi) fluency in English to communicate with our English-speaking clients

In addition, knowledge and experience is required in/of:

(i) financial instruments (in particular, commodity derivatives);

(ii) the shipping and energy sectors;

(iii) derivative and physical markets.

Qualifications Required:

University degree;

Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment qualifications - Level 3 in Financial Regulation and Derivatives.
