Rebar Formwork Worker (Steel Fixer / Formwork Carpenter)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Cut, bend, and fix reinforcement steel bars according to specifications.
• Assemble, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures.
• Ensure reinforcement and formwork are correctly positioned before concrete pouring.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain the quality and accuracy of work.
• Follow site safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Report defects or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Perform welding using approved welding processes (MIG, TIG, ARC, etc.).
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Cut, join, and repair metal components.
• Inspect welded joints for quality and structural integrity.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Follow welding safety procedures and fire prevention measures.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Keep accurate records of completed work when required.
