Requirements
- Minimum LCCI, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
- Experience using SQL Accounting Software is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Able to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Responsible, trustworthy, and able to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Update daily debtor collections and monitor outstanding accounts receivable.
- Process supplier invoices, expense claims, and payment transactions accurately and on time.
- Prepare payment advice and maintain proper filing of accounting records and supporting documents.
- Assist in maintaining a full set of accounts for assigned entities.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure financial records are up to date.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records using the company's accounting system.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and banks on routine accounting matters.
- Assist with financial reporting and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
