Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for junior positions).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. AutoCount, SQL Accounting, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in retail, events, or entertainment industries is an advantage.
- Responsible, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Perform daily sales reconciliation and cash handling verification.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist in monthly closing, financial reports, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor company expenses and support budget tracking.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities when required.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Assist in payroll, tax, and statutory submissions when required.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties.
