Job description:
Production Management
- Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day production activities to achieve output targets.
- Monitor production processes including latex dipping, curing, stripping, chlorination or polymer coating, drying, and packing.
- Ensure proper allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Track production KPIs (output, scrap rate, downtime, efficiency) and implement continuous improvement efforts.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure that all products meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
- Support quality inspections, troubleshoot defects, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485), and regulatory requirements for medical or industrial gloves.
Safety & Maintenance
- Enforce workplace safety protocols and conduct regular safety briefings.
- Identify and report equipment issues; coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe operation of machinery and chemical-handling areas.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and mentor line operators, technicians, and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support skill development.
- Manage shift schedules and resolve workforce issues.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, downtime logs, and quality documentation.
- Support audits and provide relevant production data.
- Recommend process improvements and contribute to operational planning.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing; experience in rubber glove production or latex processing is a strong advantage.
- Prior supervisory or team-lead experience required.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of glove dipping lines, latex/nitrile compounding, and production processes.
- Hands-on problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-management abilities.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, or extended hours as needed.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
