Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced R&D RF Hardware Design Lead to lead the design and development of next-generation RF Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions. You will provide technical leadership, solve complex RF hardware challenges, and drive products from concept through production while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead RF hardware design and technical direction for semiconductor test equipment
Design RF circuits including schematic design, simulation, optimization, and design reviews
Develop RF hardware solutions covering impedance matching, gain, noise, linearity, shielding, isolation, and stability
Review PCB layouts for RF-critical routing, grounding, shielding, and signal integrity
Support prototype build, hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and root cause analysis
Define RF hardware validation, characterization, calibration, and performance benchmarks
Collaborate with Product Development, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, NPI, and Application teams
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior RF Hardware Engineers
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, RF Engineering, Communications, or related field
Minimum 8 years of experience in RF hardware design and development
Strong knowledge of RF circuit design, simulation, PCB layout review, and hardware debugging
Hands-on experience with RF laboratory equipment such as:
Experience using RF simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, or equivalent
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Up to RM 15000
Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM16,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
