Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager in assessing or reviewing more complex fit and proper assessment cases which are required to clear HAA (Hiring Authority Approval)
  • Support the Manager to review and setup structured processes to ensure that Service Level Agreement (SLAs) are met. The structured approach encompasses the identification of problems to implementing and refining solutions in a methodical way, which is key to consistently meeting the agreed service level agreements
  • Be involved in fit and proper framework review and execution work, ensuring that operational changes are smoothly implemented
  • Responsible for fit & proper assessment applicable to the appointment of representatives under Representative Notification Framework (RNF) within agreed timeline, which includes:
    • conducting fit and proper assessment on each candidate
    • making recommendation on the suitability of each candidate
    • flagging out adverse findings and escalating of case for further evaluation
  • Ensure completeness of documentation for each candidate.
  • To liaise with candidates, hiring manager and internal stakeholders on all matters relating to the recruitment of the candidate:
    • missing information or supporting documents required for due diligence checks
    • signing of Agency Agreement with candidate
  • Provide regular statistics & report to Distribution Channels related to candidate & appointment of representatives
  • Conduct periodic declarations and checks such as
    • daily credit monitoring on representative financial status
    • annual self-declaration from representative
  • Support for other Distribution Support function such as:
    • handles audit request related to fit & proper assessment
    • regular review of processes to streamline and ensure relevancy
  • Any other projects or tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or Diploma in any discipline
  • At least 2 years†experience in Distribution Support, particularly in MAS Representative Notification Framework
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized, focused and able to work under tight timelines and pressure
  • Independent, self-driven and results-oriented
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders
