Responsibilities
· Assist the Project Manager in leading and managing the project on site and updating of project plan, progress and final reports needed for the periodic management meetings.
· Prepare costing during quotation stage, plan and manage project budget including selection and management of sub-contractors.
· Monitor compliance of all project manpower, including sub-contractors on the shipyard management system and achieve the objectives and targets related to quality, occupational health, safety, security and environment.
· Lead the daily vessel safety coordination committee meeting and manage the activities to ensure on-time results and responses to action items including follow-up with other departments, external suppliers and sub-contractors.
· Plan and manage project budget including selection and management of sub-contractors.
· Coordinate with other department managers to monitor milestones and project deadlines.
· Analyse data and information to recommend and ensure continuous process improvement.
· Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
· Ensure compliance to relevant government regulations and company’s quality, safety, health and environmental (QSHE) policies, practices and procedures at all times.
Requirements
· Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Naval Architecture or related discipline.
· Diploma holders will require 2 years of working experience.
· Excellent communication skills, meticulous, resourceful, able to multi-task.
· A team player with the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
· Preparedness for overseas assignments at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
Work Location: In person
