About the role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join the team at Intex Development Co Ltd in our Wan Chai office. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounting Department and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records and reporting. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform daily accounting duties including general ledger postings, accounts receivable, etc.

• Prepare monthly/annual financial and management reports

• Provide support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts

• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures

• Assist in ad-hoc projects as needed

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting

• Proficient in using accounting software such as AccPac system and Microsoft Office application & MS Excel

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively

• Good command in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
