Neuron Operations Limited
We are seeking a versatile and results-driven Technical Sales & Project Engineer to drive business growth and ensure the successful delivery of our technical solutions. This unique, multi-faceted role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, technical execution, and operational delivery.
You will not only act as the trusted technical advisor to our clients during the pre-sales phase but will also take ownership of post-sales project management to ensure what is promised is flawlessly executed. Additionally, you will handle key commercial administration duties to keep the sales pipeline and project lifecycles organized and compliant.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for prospective and existing clients, understanding their business needs and mapping them to our product/service portfolio.
Present and demonstrate complex technical solutions, architecture, and MVPs confidently to both technical stakeholders (engineers/IT) and C-level executives.
Partner with internal R&D or engineering teams to translate client requirements into robust technical proposals and accurate Scopes of Work (SOW).
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize account value.
Respond to Technical RFIs (Request for Information) and RFPs (Request for Proposal) with high precision.
Lead the transition of won accounts from the sales phase to implementation, acting as the primary Project Manager.
Define project lifecycles, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation using project management tools.
Coordinate with internal development, operations, and engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
Manage client expectations, lead regular project status meetings, and proactively resolve blockers or scope-creep issues.
Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and client sign-off, ensuring smooth solution deployment and handover.
Prepare, issue, and track commercial documents, including quotations, cost sheets, variations, and formal service contracts.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records, sales pipelines, and project documentation within the CRM and internal databases.
Coordinate vendor registration processes and ensure compliance with client procurement requirements.
Liaise with the finance and administration teams to monitor project billing milestones, invoice issuance, and payment collections.
Compile monthly sales performance and project progress reports for executive leadership.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical/business discipline.
2–5 years of experience in Technical Sales, Pre-Sales Engineering, or Technical Project Management, preferably within a B2B technology, smart solution, or SaaS environment.
Proven track record of managing technical projects from inception to completion while managing client relationships.
Technical Acumen: Ability to quickly learn, articulate, and configure technical systems, software architectures, or engineering solutions.
Project Management: Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, or MS Project). A PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
Commercial & Admin Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel for costing, Word for proposals).
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to bridge the gap between deeply technical teams and commercial stakeholders.
Hybrid Mindset: Equally comfortable closing a deal, building a Gantt chart, and organizing contract paperwork.
Problem Solver: Highly analytical with a proactive approach to anticipating project risks and client roadblocks.
Organized & Disciplined: Capable of managing multiple client accounts and project timelines simultaneously without compromising on administrative accuracy.
