Position Summary

The Vice President of Human Resources provides strategic leadership for all human capital initiatives across Pivotal Systems Malaysia. This role develops and executes HR strategies that align with business goals while fostering a high-performance, innovative, and inclusive workplace. The VP HR partners closely with executive leadership to attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company's human resources strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management.
  • Lead recruitment, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Design and oversee compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Drive employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
  • Lead organizational change management during business transformation initiatives.
  • Develop HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee HR budgets, workforce analytics, and key performance indicators.
  • Champion learning and development programs to enhance employee capabilities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing HR team.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Professional HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD, or equivalent) are advantageous.
  • 12–15+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles.
  • Experience in the semiconductor, technology, manufacturing, or engineering industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and labor regulations.
  • Proven experience in organizational development, talent management, and change leadership.
