Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Malaysia, responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of HR functions. This role oversees talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations to support operational needs across multiple client sites. The Human Resources Manager manages compensation and benefits administration, HR policies, and compliance with local labor laws and company standards, including ISO-related requirements. Day-to-day tasks include advising managers on HR matters, handling disciplinary and grievance processes, coordinating training and development initiatives, maintaining accurate HR records, and supporting workforce planning and manpower deployment. The role collaborates closely with operations and management teams to foster a positive, safe, and high-performing work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding to support manpower needs across diverse client sites.
- Experience in performance management, employee engagement, and managing disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, HR policies, and compliance, including familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 practices.
- Proficiency in HR administration, record-keeping, payroll coordination, and benefits management.
- Ability to design and coordinate training and development programs to improve workforce capability and safety awareness.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Comfort working on-site and visiting different client locations as needed to support HR operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in facilities management, cleaning services, or related service industries is beneficial.
