This Chief Operations Officer opportunity offers the chance to join a growing business in Malaysia at an important stage of growth and integration. Reporting into the CEO, this role will suit an experienced operational leader who enjoys bringing structure, improving performance and helping shape strategy in a fast-moving environment.

The company operates across multiple countries in the region and is looking for a hands-on, commercially minded leader who can positively influence production, operations, and procurement.

You will:

• Lead the production, operations and procurement functions, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives.
• Improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency, profitability, quality and health and safety standards.
• Work closely with department heads to support smooth day-to-day operations and effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and implement KPIs for the Chief Operating Officer and wider team, supporting target delivery and professional growth.
• Contribute to strategic planning and execution as a key member of the leadership team.

You must have:

• A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years’ experience in a senior operational or production leadership role.
• Strong financial, commercial and strategic planning capability.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction or building materials production.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a flexible and proactive approach.
