Key Responsibilities:
- Customer needs analysis Understand and analyze customer needs from their perspective, and communicate them clearly to the development team in a way that is actionable and easy to grasp.
- Backlog management Continuously refine, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria are well‑defined and aligned with customer expectations and team capacity.
- PI planning Collaborate with the Agile Coach and development team members to prepare PI planning and define clear objectives for each iteration.
- Stakeholder alignment Act as the communication link between the development team and internal stakeholders, including Product Managers, Research teams, and internal process teams, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Documentation authoring Co‑author User Guides, Release Notes, and other product documentation to support customer understanding and adoption.
- Demonstrations and reviews Co‑prepare and facilitate demonstrations, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and Program Increment sessions to showcase progress and gather feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar).
- Ideally 2-3 years of experience in a Product Owner, Functional Analyst, or similar role.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively, balancing business and technical needs.
- Strong analytical skills to translate customer needs into actionable backlog items.
- Ability to manage multiple products/workflows simultaneously.
- Experience in writing clear User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
Plus Points:
- Experience working with products in R&D, Medical, or CAD/3D Printing industry-related fields.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies or the Scaled Agile Framework, with experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Agile Product Owner-related certification (e.g., PSPO, POPM, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.
- Experience providing product documentation, including user manuals and release notes.
