Follow MOPs, SOPs, change management procedures, maintenance windows, safety procedures, access control, and data centre operational standards.

Maintain accurate documentation for network devices, port mapping, IP allocation, cabling, asset inventory, incident reports, and change activities.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Networking, Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in network support, NOC, data centre network operations, infrastructure support, field network engineering, or related environment.

Hands-on knowledge of:

Familiar with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, Grafana, Wireshark, ping, traceroute, ipconfig/ifconfig, show commands, console access, or similar.

Comfortable supporting both network configuration/troubleshooting and hands-on data centre floor activities.

Preferred Experience

Experience in data centre, colocation, hyperscale, telecom, ISP, NOC, managed services, or enterprise network environments.

Exposure to fibre patching, cross-connects, structured cabling, OTDR/Fluke testing, SFP/QSFP modules, patch panels, meet-me-room connectivity, and cable documentation.
