Whealer Solutions is an HRD Corp-registered training provider working with banks, insurers, and financial institutions across Malaysia. We're looking for a resourceful builder who can use AI, automation, APIs, and modern development tools to turn ideas into working systems. This is not a traditional software developer role — you'll work directly with the founder to identify business problems, design solutions, build prototypes, automate workflows, and deploy systems that improve efficiency and scale, including the development of learning & development focused tech products.

Role Description

The AI Systems & Automation Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur, with a salary of RM 3,000–5,000 per month. This is a hands-on builder role, not a coordination or advisory one — you'll be building and improving internal tools and AI-powered products yourself using AI-assisted development tools, designing and deploying business automations using Power Automate and other relevant automation platforms, and integrating systems through APIs, webhooks, and third-party platforms (CRM, Microsoft 365, SharePoint). Daily work includes developing AI-powered workflows, agents, dashboards, and reporting tools, working directly with the founder to turn business requirements into practical, deployed solutions, and manually reviewing, testing, debugging, and improving AI-generated code and workflows. You'll also support the ongoing development of learning & development focused tech products.

Qualifications

• Familiar with programming fundamentals, APIs, and basic system design — no formal CS degree required if the skills are there
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Claude, GitHub, and other relevant AI development tools
• Experience building automations and integrations using Power Automate or similar workflow tools and APIs
• Comfortable evaluating, debugging, and improving AI-generated code
• Genuinely curious about AI, technology, and how it's changing the way businesses operate
• A love of learning — you'll be picking up new tools and technical concepts constantly
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision in a fast-moving small team
• Goal-driven — you want to ship things that work, not just look busy
