Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Manager at Mycron Steel CRC Sdn Bhd, based in Shah Alam with flexibility for occasional work-from-home arrangements. The Senior Manager will oversee daily Engineering & Maintenance, manage cross-functional teams, and drive strategic initiatives to meet business goals. Responsibilities include monitoring Equipment & machinery avalibility , ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, spare part & inventory management. The individual will also be responsible for developing and overseeing budgets (CAPEX & OPEX), maintaining compliance with industry standards, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, team management, and organizational planning skills
• Technical expertise in steel manufacturing, production processes, and resource optimization
• Experience in process improvement methodologies and quality management systems
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and data-driven decision-making
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to manufacturing processes
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the manufacturing or steel industry
