With strong brand recognition in Korea and rapidly growing global interest in Korean lifestyle café concepts, Dessert39 is preparing strategic expansion through Master Franchise and Area Developer partnerships.

Role Overview We are seeking experienced freelance franchise development consultants to support Dessert39's market entry by identifying and introducing qualified Master Franchise or Area Developer partners. This is a remote, contract-based role designed for professionals who already work within the F&B, café, retail, or franchise ecosystem and have strong local networks. This role focuses on strategic introductions and advisory-level support, not cold calling or mass outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential Master Franchise / Area Developer candidates
• Introduce Dessert39 to qualified franchise groups, multi-unit operators, or investors
• Coordinate and support meetings with Dessert39 HQ (Korea)
• Provide local market insights (franchise structure, real estate trends, consumer behavior)
• Support early-stage discussions through the evaluation and negotiation phase

Requirements

• Proven experience in franchise development, F&B, café chains, or retail expansion
• Strong network with multi-unit operators, franchise groups, or investors in Singapore and broader Southeast Asian markets
• Experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or market entry consulting
• Understanding of franchise structures (FDD, Area Developer models preferred)
• Comfortable working on a commission-based / success-fee model
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Based in Singapore or with strong networks in Singapore/Southeast Asia preferred

Work Arrangement

• Freelance
• Fully remote
• Outcome-based (no fixed working hours)

Compensation

• Commission-based (Success Fee Only)
• High-value success fee structure based on Master Franchise agreement value
• No base salary or hourly compensation is provided for this role
• Fee structure and expectations will be discussed in detail with shortlisted candidates

Target Market Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia Initial focus on major metro areas with strong café and franchise demand
