About the Roles

Join a manufacturing company specialising in Steel Structural solutions as a Specification Manager based in Pasir Panjang. This permanent position follows a five-day work week, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6pm, and offers an attractive package comprising basic salary, project incentives, and performance bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and strengthen relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, and relevant authorities during the conceptual and design phases.
• Secure product specifications and approvals by engaging key project stakeholders.
• Track project pipelines and follow up on specification opportunities to improve project conversion rates.
• Maintain accurate records of project developments, customer activities, market updates, and potential business opportunities.
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for business expansion.
• Support the development and execution of strategic marketing plans.
• Promote the company’s brand and solutions through seminars, exhibitions, trade shows, advertising campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
• Provide the R&D department with market insights, customer feedback, and industry trends to support product innovation and pricing strategies.
• Evaluate competitors’ products, market positioning, strengths, and weaknesses.
• Recommend strategies to enhance the company’s competitive advantage.
• Deliver assigned project specification objectives within established timelines.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building, Construction, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in product/ system specification within the construction or building materials industry.
• Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering standards, and design compliance requirements within the Southeast Asian market.
• Established professional relationships with architects, consultants, and other key stakeholders in the construction industry will be an advantage.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings, engineering plans, and specifications.
• Willingness to travel for business assignments when required.
• Valid driving licence and own transport.
