Job Summary
We are looking for a junior Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to prepare tender evaluation, and post‑contract duties. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting project teams across all stages of construction.
Quantity Surveying Duties (Electrical Focus)
- Manage the full suite of M&E QS duties from tender to pre‑contract and post‑contract stages.
- Perform quantity take‑offs, prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), and review contract terms.
- Source, evaluate, and recommend suppliers/subcontractors for electrical and M&E works.
- Prepare and analyze cost comparisons for procurement and award recommendations.
Project Costing & Budget Control
- Prepare project budgets and monitor cost control to ensure expenditures remain within approved limits.
- Provide costing advice and contractual support to the Project Team during tender, construction, and final account stages.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project cost efficiency.
Technical & Coordination Duties
- Ensure sound knowledge and application of measurement, cost estimation, contracts, and construction law.
- Work closely with consultants, clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve contractual and technical issues.
- Maintain strong understanding of pre‑ and post‑contract processes and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience as M&E Quantity Surveyor (Electrical preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge in measurement, cost estimation, contracts, and construction law.
- Competent in full QS project functions and able to work independently.
- Solid understanding of pre‑ and post‑contract duties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with consultants, clients, and vendors.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month
