Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Wireman PW4 to carry out electrical installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair works in accordance with Malaysian electrical regulations and safety standards. The ideal candidate must possess a valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission Malaysia) PW4 Wireman Certificate, have at least 5 years of relevant experience, and hold a Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Vocational Qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of low-voltage electrical systems.
• Carry out electrical wiring works in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical panels, switchboards, distribution boards, motors, lighting systems, and power circuits.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable system operation.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with the Electricity Supply Act 1990, Electricity Regulations 1994, MS IEC Standards, and Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.
• Perform electrical testing and prepare testing reports.
• Identify electrical faults and implement effective corrective actions.
• Supervise electricians and electrical technicians during installation and maintenance works.
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and clients to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Follow all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid PW4 Wireman Competency Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), Malaysia.
• Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Vocational Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
