About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Executive to manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics. This role requires close collaboration with suppliers, customers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely product delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesDemand Planning & Inventory Management
- Forecast and plan inventory based on current and future business requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Manage replenishment planning and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs to meet customer demand.
- Allocate inventory according to business priorities during supply constraints.
- Review inventory regularly and implement action plans for slow-moving, obsolete, or expired stock.
- Analyse forecast accuracy and provide recommendations during Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
- Identify potential supply risks and work with internal teams to develop mitigation plans.
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Process purchase orders based on approved purchase requisitions and demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, pricing, and product quality.
- Communicate product or pricing changes to the Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Handle supplier quality claims and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
- Support new supplier onboarding and vendor registration processes.
- Verify supplier invoices for accuracy before payment processing.
- Participate in supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Warehouse & Inventory Operations
- Coordinate with internal and third-party warehouses to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Monitor warehouse operations, storage utilization, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of products in compliance with MSDS and company standards.
- Oversee inbound inventory receiving, stock reconciliation, and ERP system updates.
- Support inventory counts, stock audits, and product disposal activities.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, transport providers, and warehouse partners.
- Monitor warehouse service performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies, ISO 9001 standards, and local regulatory requirements.
Logistics & Distribution
- Coordinate import and export shipments with freight forwarders, transporters, and logistics partners.
- Arrange customs clearance and inbound delivery schedules.
- Support negotiations on freight rates and logistics contracts.
- Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Evaluate logistics service provider performance and recommend improvements.
- Resolve logistics-related issues and customer delivery concerns.
- Verify logistics invoices for accuracy.
- Research and recommend efficient shipping methods, carriers, and transportation routes.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, ISO 9001 standards, and local regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or inventory management.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and inventory management is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards is preferred.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
