Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures and standards across manufacturing and logistics operations
- Conduct regular inspections, audits and testing of products and processes to identify defects or deviations from established standards
- Analyse quality data and prepare detailed reports to monitor performance against key quality metrics and targets
- Investigate quality issues and non-conformances, determining root causes and implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Collaborate with production, transport and logistics teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control activities, test results and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards and customer requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in process optimisation projects
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and best practices
- Liaise with suppliers and external stakeholders regarding quality matters
What we're looking for
- A recognised qualification in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience working in quality assurance within manufacturing, transport or logistics environments
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools and methodologies such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma or Lean
- Proficiency in quality control techniques, statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and deviations
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate issues systematically and objectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation
- Proficiency in using quality management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred experience with supplier quality management or customer audits
- Preferred certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or other recognised quality standards
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
