The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing mechanical installation activities while working closely with clients, subcontractors, equipment suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and mechanical design documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate installation of mechanical systems supporting production tools, including utility hook-ups and equipment interfaces.
  • Work closely with construction, electrical, process, and facility teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor site progress, identify technical issues, and implement effective solutions to maintain project schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, method statements, material tracking, progress reports, and as-built documentation.
  • Participate in site meetings, project planning sessions, and client coordination meetings.
  • Support testing, commissioning, punch list closure, and project handover activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant project engineering experience.
  • Experience in Semiconductor Tool Install projects is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in semiconductor fabs, cleanroom environments, or high-tech manufacturing facilities is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems used in semiconductor facilities, including Process Cooling Water (PCW), Chilled Water (CHW), Clean Dry Air (CDA), Vacuum, Exhaust, DI Water, and Process Mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, layout drawings, and construction documents.
  • Strong knowledge of construction coordination, installation practices, and project execution.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6 is an advantage.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience supporting tool installation, equipment hook-up, or mechanical construction within semiconductor facilities.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple work fronts in live or active fab environments.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor industry quality requirements.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and construction documentation processes.
