Company Description

Digital Degens is a growth-driven digital agency in Malaysia. We build brands, generate leads, and drive measurable revenue through content, performance marketing, and scalable digital systems.

We work with brands across F&B, healthcare, corporate, and e-commerce, managing the full funnel from awareness to loyalty. To date we’ve produced 3,000+ videos, managed RM20M+ in e-commerce revenue, and served 30+ brands. Interns can expect to join a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team that values creativity, experimentation, and real output.

Role Description

The Video Editing & Production Intern will support the creative team in producing high-quality video content for digital campaigns, social media, and brand initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing short-form videos, organising and managing footage and project files, adding graphics and basic motion elements, optimising videos for different platforms, and supporting content shoots (in-studio and on-location) when needed.

The intern will work closely with our editors, shooters, and strategists, gaining exposure to the full content production pipeline from shoot day to final delivery.

  • Proficient in CapCut (knowledge of Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro is a bonus)
  • Foundational understanding of video editing and production workflows
  • Ability to work with visual assets, including basic motion graphics, sound, and colour correction, with attention to detail and consistency
  • A creative eye and strong sense of pacing, trends, and what makes short-form content perform on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, comfortable in a fast-paced agency setting
  • Able to commit to a minimum 4-month placement
  • A portfolio or showreel of previous video work is highly preferred
