A. Job Purpose

To support the Regional Chargeman in conducting, overseeing, and managing preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and corrective maintenance CME activities.

B. Job Summary / Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for strategizing, executing, and overseeing Preventive Maintenance for Generators, Air Conditioning, Electrical, and Earthing Systems.
2. Conduct engineering analyses and propose rectification solutions to prevent recurring issues.
3. Collaborate closely with vendors for second-level troubleshooting on Genset and CME elements, ensuring adherence to SLAs at sites.
4. Monitor, trend, and track site power consumption, as well as observe CME equipment's state of health (SOH) to prevent breakdowns and power failures.
5. Apply robust analytical and problem-solving skills to prevent reoccurrences and resolve issues as per established SLAs.
6. Support FST and CET teams in deploying RRT assets to ensure GIRN network coverage availability as required by the agencies.
7. Exhibit the capability to work under pressure in challenging situations and be available for 24x7 standby duty.
8. Display mobility and flexibility and demonstrate a willingness to travel or relocate when needed.

C. Output Required

• Civil, Mechanical & Electrical (CME) preventive maintenance was executed as per PM Master schedule.

D. Position Requirements

Qualifications & Professional Certificates

• Essential: Chargeman A4 Certificate by Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia.

Experience

• Essential: With at least 2 years experiences in related engineering field.
• Preferred: In related work preferences from industrial / plant / manufacturing - electrical background.

Knowledge & Skills Required

• General: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical:
• Skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining air conditioning, electrical systems, and gensets.
• Possesses a deep understanding and mastery of electrical systems, generators, and associated equipment.
• Exhibits a strong aptitude for analysing complex issues and coming out with effective solutions.
• Demonstrates meticulousness in maintenance tasks and troubleshooting procedures.
• Prioritizes safety protocols and practices in all maintenance activities.
